I was aboard the CR for the season finale today as the weather report was for much warmer temps and I couldn't resist. The wind wasn't as bad as predicted but there was a roll to deal with and it was a wet ride home. I ended up with one just over 28" and half a dozen shorts. There was one other keeper by a nice young lad and he beat in the pool by ounces, GOOD FOR HIM! There was a lot of small bass all around the boat to keep those who knew how to turn the handle happy.
I will miss the Cock Robin crew and faithful thru the cold days ahead and wish them all a great offseason. Time to breakout the bottom gear and find me some tog!!!!!!
