South Branch clean up November 15th:
CJST is excited to announce our next cleanup on Saturday November 15th at 9:00 am.
Meetup is at the Rte 31 South Pull-off in Readington Township 3/4 of a mile south of Stanton Station Road.
As the water has become quite chilly, this will be a land cleanup of the South Branch Reservation between the river and the highway. There may be some very shallow water to walk across for any volunteers who want to get wet.
This cleanup will offer volunteers the very exciting opportunity to visit the ruins of Rowland's Mills. On Past exploring there we have discovered some cool antique bottles so you never know what you might discover.
It's a really beautiful old area that just needs the helping hands of CJST and it's amazing volunteers.
Apparently yet another car was found in the lower South Branch on the last clean up so there is no shortage of big stuff to add to the list for next year.
