Took my last bit of vacation this week and only fished the last 2 days since I had tickets to the NASCAR race in Delaware over the weekend.
Day one we decided to check out some new water and hit up the D. First time there and definitely an experience!! Only time I've been in water where the flow was stronger than my trolling motor, lol...
Managed a few nice smallies. I got one at 18", while pops got a 17" and a 16". Saw lots of channels up to 5# and carp galore but all where spooked by our presence. Not a bad scounting journey. Didn't hit our target species, even though it was supposed to be an overcast day with possible showers, but, I've had worse days elsewhere, lol.......
