Been out a few times in the last 2 weeks. Mostly "last hour of daylight" walks, and one launch at a spot I haven't been yet to this year. Evenings produced my best channel of 2014, along with a few "others".......
My mid-morning launch was almost a bust with 1 thrown hook (smallie) and 1 perch in the first 2 hours....... I had called it a day and while cruisin back to the launch saw some bait fish launch themselves out of the water!!!! Hit the brakes and started throwing..... Caught about a dozen 10-14" smallies in an hour. Had a few casts were multiple fish hit at the same time and a few were 2-3 others followed in the fish I had hooked.......
No contest entries, but Def good times!!
