Time to fish seems to have slipped away lately with all the work I have going on. Then theres the family events every weekend that seem to never end, BLAH! Take it as it is, I guess! Here's all I have. Fished the Raritan Friday August 8th from 11am-1pm, bluebird skies, no wind and alot of heat. Managed to pick up 6 Smallies between 9-16.5 inches. Not too bad considering how low and perfect the conditions were NOT! HEHE!!! River homies, Clint and Dave were fishing this area as well. Clint got a nice Channel around 21, don't remember what he got it on. Dave gave it hell but I think he came up empty for the afternoon. Good to hang out with you 2 RIVER MANIACS for a couple hours.
Monday, August 10th, hit the local Pike grounds to see whats been happening. My one buddy nailed a 40 incher at my spot on Sunday so I had to investigate. Fished for 1.5 hours, extended lunch, and nailed 2 Pike. First Pike went 30 inches and pretty husky, Second Pike went 32 and pretty husky as well. I can deal with the not fishing all the time as long as I get out there and get a little fix once in a while. If I don't get my fix somehow, I WILL SNAP, LOL!!!! Anyway, the water was very, very low on both rivers on these days and me personally, I HOPE WE GET ALOT OF RAIN…………..SOON! I'm not a big fan of all this low water, drought stuff. Oh, but the fish are concentrated to certain spots when its low. BLAH, BLAH, life isn't easy, why should fishing be??? LOL!!!!

And heres some bonus pics from the Fluke trip on Sunday. The fishing was sub par BUT we definatley had a PHENOM time. Couple NJF members are missing from the pics, I'll get em next time.
