Wanted to give a shout out to Matt and Coll who were out on the boat yesterday with me. Teamed up for a long day on the water with Matt being Net & rigging man. Think he lost more buck tails and tied more rigs than caught fluke! Had a great bite in the morning offshore then mid day it died off. Searched around for some fish with not much to be found. Headed inshore to a last ditch effort to get a fish worth weighing in....PAID OFF! At 4:15 Coll hooks a SLOB...taking line..fighting it nice and easy...and in the net it went. Immediately we make the run to Twin Lights and on the scale for an 8.4 lb weigh in. Someone at Clarks Landing weighed a 9.0 in...but 2nd place isn't bad!
It was great to fish with my friends as always and we know who wears the pants in that family and who wears the skirt! You know who I'm talking about Matt...hahaha.
