Had what looked like a bluegill on land, but when I got close to it, the snake released its catch, left it on shore, and swam back into the water before I was able to snap a pic. Yea I was on the passaic, I wonder what it is and if it's poisonous... I googled NJ snakes and it kinda looked like a northern water snake, which aren't poisonous but I'm still not trying to get bit by one! Lol
