I've considered the same thing. I've read as much as I can about the spawn, and regional info for NJ is scarce. I do know that they come in by the boatload where I fish at this time of year. Catching a dozen or more channels and flats starting @ 10lb is normal. Puts a great bend in that rod
If anyone has detailed info on the NJ/Big D spawn cycle, I'd be interested to learn more.
