Finally a better flattie! 7/15 Surf Report!
Fished for some Flatties at an Elberon beach today with a morning and early afternoon to spare. I fished from 10:00-1:00Only had 3 Fluke, but 2 were keepers and one was a definitely a better one I was looking for. 24 incher! The other keeper was 19 1/2 inches. Both were caught on Fluke belly....
Definitely a better outing! On my way to my grandma's house, I at stopped at the Fish.... Den in Belmar to buy some Gulp and i was able to get a weight on it and it was a little over 4 1/2 lbs.
Good stuff for fishing the surf!
