Took advantage of a day off on Friday and explored a new stretch of river. Hit the water around nine and motored out for a good 30-40 min. Levels and flow were good but the water was still pretty stained. Fished some real nice areas but skunked out the first hour or two. Then I hooked up a shorty on an inline. Cool, no skunk, lol......
Then, not to long after, got slammed boatside by one a bit bigger. Saw him grab it, turn, and then zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz !!!!!! Couple hard runs and sob even managed to dodge the damn net 3 times. Measured out to a THICK 31" and some change. Def a great fighter!! Quick CPR and of she went. Packed it up soon after and called it a day.
