I'm fascinated by this. Maybe fishing with pieces of fat-ladden, over-processed meat products is an under utilized method for pike.

I can see you on an episode of 'Fishing with Roland Martin' with a package of hotdogs being like, "Well Roland, we rig the hotdogs with a double-hooked quick strike rig on a titanium wire leader and cast it out into high probability areas..."

It depends on the area. In the Newark area, you can use store-brand hotdogs, but where the Passaic approaches Summit and Millburn you have to switch to Kosher hotdogs.
