And Eddie, I actually did have one inhale the spinner and took it right in the gills. I never really keep anything but this guy was bleedin all over so I kept it. Didn't try to fillet it, just took the head and tail off and de-slimmed it with lemon. Then I cleaned out the innards, seasoned it up and baked it for a bit. First time eating nj pickerel, not bad!! White flakey flesh, and no "swampy" taste.......... |
