On Saturday we had Tom and Jackie on board. Slow making bait out side inlet. Got a call and tons of bait off Shark River, made bait in no time. Went up the line and made a couple drifts with no bites. Went to rough bottom and anchored up Got one Keeper bass and one short and 1/2 dozen Blues. Stopped on way one. No more bites.
Sunday made bait local as the bait that was north was gone. First drift got bass around 24 lbs. Than worked the area with no other bites. Went on troll. No bites. went up little further north. Got second fish of the day about 30 lbs then Blues showed up..
Great day on water.
