Default Raritan Bay- Loaded With Bass & Blues

The bay is so full of life it is amazing. We are doing real well with nice size stripers and plenty of monsters blues. This is strictly a bunker bite! You could troll but why? So far anchoring up and chunking is the best. Some days we are drifting and live lining. It has been a great run and the spawned out bass haven't even come out of the Hudson River yet. The cold water in there spawning grounds is to our benefit because it will last thru June and get better. Last year June was the month for live lining in the bay and it lasted until the end of the first week of July.
This is a great fishery and a good way to start the youngsters out.Plenty of action with bass and alligator blues keeps them busy not to mention calm waters. It does not last all year so don't miss out on some of the best fishing on the East Coast. PS Where I have my winter place in Florida those fisherman would kill for a fishery like ours!!!
