Had the Rob Lane charter out this morning for the Hi-Mar Striper tournament. Left the dock at 5am and by 545 the live wells were full and off we went. First few drifts produced a nice pick of fish ranging from 15 - 20 lbs. Knowing that we needed a kicker fish we went in search mode. Didn't have a bite for about 3 hours when we finally found some readings and set up on the anchor. Had a decent pick of fish and finally got the one we needed at just over 36 lbs. Total for the day was 20 bass landed and a bunch of blues. Our combined weight of two fish tallied 57.4 lbs which was good enough for 1st place. Congrats to all the other winners in the tournament.
