Party boat angler it is ling time
First let me give you todays bass report. We thought bunker would do the trick but every thing was caught on clams today. Guy from Pa, took the pool with a nice fat bass. Bill was back after winning yesterdays pool and had a few bites and a keeper. Al who was skunked yesterday also had a keeper. Once again the fishing was slow for us and the other boats i spoke to.
Here is the good news I spoke to some NY boats and they are starting to catch ling on the Scotland grounds. Also I saw some Manasquan head boats took the long ride to Scotland and caught ling. We are not sailing tomorrow but on Friday and Saturday we will sail at 7:00 AM for ling and whatever bottom fish are there. Sunday we leave at 7:30 AM. They have showers in the forecast but we often do best on overcast days so come on down for the start of the spring ling run.
