thanks for the replies. I was just curious as New York state only recently passed the 3 rod per person rule on Lake Ontario. I saw guys with as many as 8 rods fishing by themselves. I often question how they keep all those lines from being devastated by a big fish. It is one thing with help in the boat quite another by yourself.
