We do every color. Have blue/white and also have blue & white mixed together.
We have found that using the colors mixed seems to work better than the same colors separated. For one... when it spins, you can see the line between the 2 colors. With the mixed hair, you cant tell if its spinning or not, it looks like it is running perfect.
2nd thing was that we get the colors in there, but in a more natural way. There are no fish out there with a solid line in between 2 solid colors... ( maybe 1 oe 2, but for the most part, they are not this way.) Of course this is just our assumption too. No way to know for sure why the mixed colors are working better.
I will take $6 off, if picked up, I will have a full supply in here Sunday morning.
