Thursday after work I managed 4 browns on garden worms. Friday morning I got another 4 also on worms. Saturday morning I didn't get anything but after taking a ride up the canal from West Trenton to Lambertville, stopping along the way at just about ever place they stock, and getting nothing nor seeing or hearing about anything being caught, I headed back to West Trenton and got one to follow up a white Roostertail with a silver blade. The third cast resulted in a hookup of a nice fat brown. First trout I've caught on a lure since the first few days of the season. I hope they start hitting lures again, it's more fun than using bait IMO.
