Avoided the crowds
And spent the day with my brother working on our jon boat trailer. With the oars almost ready for the varnish, we started work on the trailer. Pulled off the old wheels checked the bearings, de-seized the winch and got the tongue workin' nice. Some new wires, tires, fancy LED lights and new trailer bunks with fresh outdoor carpeting topped it all off. Worked till just after dark which was great for makin' sure everything worked as it should. All in all it was a great way for me to spend opening day, even without so much as a line being wet. Glad to hear that lots of folks on here got out and had some action. Should be a little less windy today, so who knows what will happen!
