There's no wrong way to fish it as long as you reel it slow. This thing has caught me more fish in 30 years than any lure I own. My favorite trailer is a white twister. 2nd favorite is the tiny black and chartreuse tube. You gotta try different depths without a doubt to find what depth the fish are hanging in. It will work eventually, just gotta try different speeds and depths.
