I just got a lb of uv blast. My goal was to dip a lead jig fresh out of the melter to try and keep the shiny metal look. Didn't happen. The uv gave it a light lavender color. But that may not matter if the uv is as effective as they say.
It does put a nice glossy finish on top of colored jigs though.
