I tried using it several years ago... Maybe things have changed but the diameter of the line back then was too thick and when pulling it the resistance against the water would make it ride up to too high up in the water column.

Not a big fan of wire either but the smaller diameter and sinking qualities makes it good for trolling deep. The no stretch also transfers the rod tip action to your lure making it a good choice for Bunker spoons.
