Headed out Saturday morning with the Dan Bryant charter for some blackfishing. Fishing was slow overall for us. Horrible conditions had us juggling the anchors all day and having trouble staying on the pieces. Totaled 14 keepers to 5 lbs for the day.

Sunday morning we ran our open boat bass/blackfish trip. On the way to the blackfish grounds we came across birds and bass and in a short time managed to jig 20 shorts and one keeper. Once we got the anchors set, we had a slow pick of keeper and short tog coming up. Again the problem today was keeping the boat on the structure with the lack of wind. Made 3 drops for the day with bites and life on everyone. Only managed a dozen keepers to 6 lbs.
