Saturday Paul Gottlick and friends were aboard the Megan Beth for a day of Bass fishing. Head down south and stopped along the way and tried jigging. Caught one Blue fish on the jig and lost one. After about an hour we went on the troll with the rigs. Had fish right away then a steady pick or a while in 65 feet of water . Then slowed up and got a call bite was on in 30 foot. Finished the day in tight crew had 10 bass and a couple bluefish. Released 4 shorts.
On Sunday we had open boat with DR Sal and Friends Pete & Shawn, joined with Chris and his friend. Went on the jig and lost one right away. The fish were moving too fast to keep up with. Went on the troll in 30 feet by 8:30 we had our crew limit went back to jig. Got one on jig and lost a few. Heavy fog rolled in and we trolled north Caught a few more. Release about 5 shorts as well. Great fishing and nice days to be on the water..
