Fished my favorite reservoir with my buddy tom (Driverrat)for about 4 hrs this afternoon, we were trying to see if we could figure a pattern for som Hybrids. Well that didn't happen but I did pick up my PB cat and learn a little about big catfish and got a good laugh. I don't have a lot of experience with big cats, so after I netted this 24" 4 or 5lb cat i ask Tom if it's OK to lip a cat and he said yea they don't have teeth and will just clamp down a little. So I stuck my thumb in his mouth, picked him up and popped the hook out of the corner of his mouth. To say thank you he clamped down like a vice, spun around on my thumb and drew blood with 36 grit jaws that don't have teeth. I stuck my other hand in his mouth and preyed him off my thumb with a few choice words for the fish and tom, who was having a gut busting laugh, took a pix and threw him back. That the last time I put my finger in a big cats mouth and I'll be careful about what tom tells me. Thanks bud
