But don't forget that Lake Mercer is probably the only lake in the Central Jersey area which is stocked with Muskies. Both pure strain Muskellunge and Tiger Muskies are in this lake and some bruisers over 50 inches have been caught.....some of them probably caught by guys fishing for LMB.
The only strange thing about this lake is that they
don't allow ice fishing, whereas you
can ice fish on Assumpink, Stone Tavern and Rising Sun.
