Fishermen/ Tue. nite stripers
If I only had a drift. Last nites fishing was a workout for every person on the boat, at the end of the nite everyone on the boat knew that eel fishing with no current is not easy. I probably made over 50 different calls for lines up only to move 50 feet or less and catch a few and do it all over again, the fish would not sit still and we had to chase them. Some guys did very good and others not so much. Leading the way was Steve Moran a mate from the partyboat Cock Robin who was out on a trip with his father and friends and had 3 keepers and he missed a couple, he brought them along to carry the cooler. The pool winner was big Jim from A.C. with a 20 plus pounder and there were scattered limits around the boat. Mixed in with the keepers were a fair amount of shorts and a few blues.
