Cold nights r no biggie long as the days are in the 60's/70's. Change of plan from summer is no early morning trips. When its cold in the am, early bird definitely doesn't get the worm 'cause the worm is hiding

I wait until mid/late afternoon after things have warmed up. Water takes awhile to warm and will be at its warmest last few hours of daylight. That's the time to go.
