Default Sunday Sandy Hook Fluke

Me, brother Joey Dah Fish and Sven of the Hook got out early Sunday Morning on Obsession. Although the forecast was for light winds it was blowing pretty good out of the north and with a swift outgoing tide it was sporty in the bay, in the area of the false hook and Sandy Hook channel. Stopped anyway to give it a shot but with a 2.5 knot drift we decided to head down the beach where the tide would be less of an issue.

Got to one of the spots we've been working down the beach. Water was a lot calmer and we had a .7 to .9 knot drift... We worked the area most of the day and had 5 quality keepers on Bucktails and Gulp.

Here is Joe who caught the biggest fish of the day. We thought it was close to 8 but scale said 6 back at the dock.

Can't wait to start doing some exploratory tog trips.
