Default 7 Species 1 Day 8/12

Had the itch yesterday so I snuck away from the wife for the first time to wet a line. Brought pops along since he's the only one I can rely on to get up at 5 to go, lol. On the water by 6 in light rain that ended soon after. For the slightly high and muddy conditions we put together a decent catch. 7 species total (in order caught):

- White Perch 1/2 #
- Bullhead Cat 1#
- 2 Channel Cats 2/3#
- Yellow Perch 3/4#
- 2 Smallies 1/2#
- 3 Pike 5-8#
- LMB 1.5#

Tried anchoring up at certain spots and really workin em over rather than just a cast or 2 and moving on. Also chucked some livers while anchoring which produced the cats but they were only active for the first hour out there. Also, mixed in, we caught 4 freshly stocked 7/8" pike. Good lookin specimens, the future of the river. Not a bad day at all.......
