Default Couple catfish and a big turtle.

I needed a fishing partner so I talked my cousin into buying a license and some gear. Brought him to a local stream with some chicken livers to target catfish for his first outing. Water was low, slow, and not terribly.clear. Started at 6:30 and his first cast he hooks up with what seems like a monster. Get it in and find a good size crappy with a real big turtle attached to its tail! Pulled both up and the turtle is hissing at us! Turtle stuck around and stole a few.sunfish from us. Around 7:30 the catfish showed up, steady bites for an hour, but we lost a bunch. Final numbers 3 decent catfish, a couple sunnies, a crappy and a turtle. We didn't have any.lights with us, so things got cut short. No monsters, but I think it was enough to get my cousin hooked.
