Was supposed to head back to the tuna grounds but with the forecast the guys opted to do a little sharking considering the action we had the other day. Left the dock at 530 with Sal, Mike, Kamil and his buddy and headed for the grounds. Got set up and had a nice fish on within 15 minutes. Unfortunately after the first jump, she got wrapped in the mono and busted off. After a few mintues we had another one on but came unbuttoned. This was the story for most of the day. We managed to land 3 out of 7 bites for the day, taking home one thresher at 55 1/2 inches and probably 90 pounds while releasing the rest. No jumbos for us today but plenty of action.
