Any one who follows my posts knows I have a little honey hole that's less than five minutes from my house, a private lake , couple of acres and a john boat with a dock. Great little gem of a lake, been fishing it since I was a child. Great for the usual Bass, crappies, pic's etc. Was tearing em' up in the spring then it slowed up and I started hitting my other spots. Well one of my best friends and my best man who I grew up with lived on this lake. We spent many, many , many days fishing and hunting among other things we all did as teenagers LOL. Unfortunately a couple weeks ago he fell down a flight of stairs and died from head trauma. Still unbelievable I finally went back tonight and fished for JOE. I only landed one fish but it was a beauty. 4lbs. on the nose on my scale. I looked up and thanked Joe. Took a quick pic and returned her back into the water. All in all a great night to catch that fish in memory of my buddie!!!
