Default 7/21-7/22 -- Sweet to salty turnaround trips

Sorry for the delayed report but better late than never!

7/21 Left 4 AM to meet Fish n Jeep to take a whack at the Passaic in GPM. He posted most of it in another thread. Slow day... One pike--nothing to write home about and a suicidal yellow perch who thought it was a good idea to attack my 9/16 spinnerbait. I'm still looking for my double digit pike!!!

Got home around 430-5 PM... cleaned up, packed and hit the road for Montauk. Bluefin tuna on the agenda. Get to the boat at midnight. Crash out...

7/22 Alarm goes off at 3:30 AM, leave the dock at 4 AM. Head 45 miles southwest. Decent fleet out there. Plan to troll a 7 rod spread. Get 2 lines out--BAM! 2 on. Nice way to start a trip. Bite slowed as day went on. Wound up with 9 fish I think. Up to 70-75 lb-ish. Kept our one.

I know this is a freshwater forum but I figured you guys would appreciate it either way. Here's a shot of the kill.

Catch em' up!
