Talking June 9th Fluke Report -Johnny Bucktails

Sorry for the delayed report guys but its better then never.
Left the dock with my neighbor who is a first time fisherman, he has always seen my pictures but never got the chance to come out with us. Headed right to where we have been catching and first drift produced 2 keepers and a lot of shorts. The following years should be loaded with fluke with all of the shorts around. So many fish at 17 inches. Thats ok because there are some big ones too. Hooked my friend up with a JB bucktail and showed him the ropes. At the end of the day my dad put 3 keepers in the boat, i put three in the boat, and he put one 6 pounder in the boat... he is spoiled for life i told him hahaha. He caught a lot of shorts but smacked a 6 pounder in the end. Great short day on the water with a fun crew. Lot of laughs. 7 keepers with a 6 pounder sounds good to me. We are in the raritan bay tourney. My moms birthday is today so we might not be going to the captains meeting tonight but eddie will be there. Might be able to go, well see.

tight lines- Johnny Bucktails
