I agree that they ar gr8ly overlooked amongst ur average weekend warrioir....Butif yu read the bass mags enough, the pros are all over big spoons fished deep....In fact , some of them make and or modify there spoons as the ones that are on the mrket tend to be smaller than what they want to use....I remember reading that a few bas pros buy saltwater spoons and add freshwater hooks to them.....They want size, and alot of it.....

Never used spoons much myself, other than trolling fer trout, however i am a huge fan of blade baits.....
