1st day of summer salmon
sorry for the late report was a busy weekend ( by that i mean blackout drinking). headed out Friday after work got to the lake at 6pm wind was honking never ever a good thing for carps. finally around 7:15 I landed a solid10lb then had 4 more hooked but all broke me off, fish were fighting really really hard & the 1 i landed was full of caviar. water was stil cool & key for bites in the wind seemed to be a heav egg sinke & short leader on 8lb test. all fish caught on corn.
