With the potential for hooking up a double of 3-4 lb. fish I prefer my standard, Avet SX on a Lami Inshore classic rod, with 20# braid. I did use my SX-J but I found it to be just a little to small for the job. I agree with the others about using spinning gear for bottom fishing.
