Default FISHERMEN/Wednesdays Striper Fishing Report.

Look's like the reg's are starting to bail on us since the going has gotten tough!! Had normal Bass fishing yesterday with a high hook of 4 and a bunch of shorts. Would have loved to see the bite get back to where it was 2 weeks ago, but we can't hold out much longer waiting for it to turn back on.

Today's fishing was tough with a whole bunch of area covered to catch a handful of fish. Pool fish made 14 pounds, some shorts and a few more keepers on way too many drops.
The change of tide bite didn't happen like yesterday. I'm disappointed to say the least but it's time to move on. Tomorrow will be the last Bass trip till the fall.

We will be Fluke fishing everyday starting Friday, 7:30am.

Capt. Dan will keep bass fishing at night as the bite should pick up when the fish start leaving the back bays and rivers. Porgie fishing opens up July 1st and will also be added to the night fishing schedule.

Thanks,
Capt. Ron
