I own both the Steez EX and the Calais DC. Both are great reels.. The Calais has easily become my favorite all around reel. its ridiculously smooth, built like a tank, and you can pretty much throw anything with it. The Steez is super light,precise and excels with lighter stuff.
Just for comparison, head to head with a 5 inch senko tied on each, same rod, line, and hook the Calais when set up right will easily outcast the Steez. However when sizing down to a 4 inch senko the tides begin to turn in the Steez' favor.
