Had the kids and the dog with options limited. Settled on the WV hike around the pond to get me some fishing in, the dog some swimming time, and some exercise. We make a left from the parking lot and crossed the pond at the damb near the water falls. Man what a few weeks can do...the whole shoreline nearly choked with weeds and me packing the wrong lures
Saw lots of nice bass in the grass, just nothing to throw at em that would not pull 5 lbs of weeds along for the ride. Great hike, dog swam, I shook off the skunk with a few bluegills. Not really expecting to fish today, I actually found a slight bend in the rod and everyone went home happy, the dog super happy
