Default Late trout fishing report

Fished Pohatcong Creek and Capoolong Creek on Thursday. On the Pohatcong fish were feeding on insect life. Tried using meal worms but just a few follows.

I stopped at Capoolong Creek on the way home. Glad I did. I caught and released six trout and missed several more. Four rainbows a brookie and a beautiful brown that I think is a wild fish.

PS: Water level in both streams was good and water temps still cool. There are still lots of trout out there.

The first pic is a huge snapping turtle at the Pohatcong.
