I was using my trout outfit: 4 lb test, 5' ugly stick. A good battle. Kept taking drag. Took a #4 panther martin on a 6" steel leader. Caught another 20 or so all under 14". Zero day for other fish - no perch, bass, crappie or sunnies. Sunny beds were abandoned. I guess the last few cold nights had fish retreating to deeper water.
