headed out to the cockolla canyon today with a rowdy crew of myself, my personal assistant sportfishingusa, kyle,gary,rob & liberal louie. jerry steamed right out to the canyon in beautiful conditions 2-3ft swell. we stopped on a piece could see the finder stacked with sea bass but they were sluggish to nibble. picked & plucked all over the canyon until around noon we steamed norf and got on a real nice bite to finish our limit of 120, now is when i get mad we had 2 jumbo ravens & a dozen BIG MOUNTAIN TROUTS,tons of throwback tog to 5lbs & plenty of perchs & this captain decides to leave the bite to go catch striped carp!!!!!!!!! SMH!!!!!! So we go make bait & boxed up 4 big bunker bass that combined weighed close to 130lbs def bigger fish in! fan finally turned on so we headed in with 120 sea bass,4 big bass, 2 JUMBO philly lobsters, a dozen Philly steelhead & plenty of perch for the philly bag!

as always jerry & john worked there a$$es off to fill the box just is insane the work ethic these dudes have day in & day out they prove why they are the best. but overall it was a terrible trip as i got no blue fish,sea robins, or keeper sized skates. follow the link for pics & all the sea ravens I killed had eggs hopefully someone sticks up for the ravens like they do the bass. cue the hate!!!
also big ups to capt.rich from jersey hooker for a bangup job on my reels & dropping em off at 5am!
