What a great evening to be out in the yak.

I chose Shepherd Lake because it is a great place either pre or post season, or during the week, preferably during inclement weather in season, or I wouldn't even consider going there because of the crowds.

However, the trout stockie brigade was out in force with their buckets n bags to catch their daily limit from the dock.

I chose the back corners for 6 pickerel to 24", no monsters, and 4 crappie, one of them a complete slob, probably a personal best but no scale or tape measure handy. Just use the yak or part of my leg as a point of reference. Tight lines!
