Rr 5/10 & 5/11
Hit the falls last night from about 8-10 looking for a nighttime walleye or striper with Gatto. Nothing going on until about 9 when Gatto hooked a 4lb channel cat on a rapala. Thought we had a big walleye until we got it up to the wall and realized it was a cat! Went back this morning around 9 after the rain last night and Fasteddie was already hard at work down there. Tossed lures and talked with Eddie for a while then Gatto showed up out of nowhere lol. Not much going on until I hooked up right along the wall with a nice smallie that went about 3lb on Eddies scale. A few minutes after I got the smallie back in the water Eddie comes walking past with his pole bent in half and another Tiger on the other end! He fought it down to the end of the wall, got her up, I snapped a quick pic and off she went. We all had to pack it up shortly after that, but it was a good quick day down at the falls. I found out FE personally raises and stocks the Tigers there, thats why he catches them all LOL!!! Might head down there later on, I need me a damn striper or walleye and the water was almost at the perfect level when we had to leave. TIGHT LINES!!
