5/10 Hockhocksen - Take Two
Pretty much a repeat performance of my Monday trip. Same stretch, same lure, same number of trout caught. The fish were all right about where I left them on Monday. The only difference was, this time the fish were much more aggressive. Where last time it was mostly taps and slaps, this time I had some legitimate rod-wrenching strikes. Also, I caught a surprise crappie that had a fresh wound on its back. Looked like either a heron or a big slime dart tried to make a meal of him. Water was a few inches higher and a little more stained than usual.
