New kayak first fish
So did some scouting over in elmwood park for next weeks pike event. Wind. Was pretty much ripping so it made transitioning from a small sit in to a 12' sit on top pretty difficult. Anyway the fish were active, carp jumping all over, smallies were takin small stick baits. Got one fat smallie and a dink lmb in the 2 hours I was there. Paddling into that headwind was just obnoxious so I couldn't paddle to far downriver. See you guys out there next week.
