What's the upkeep on a chicken?
This may be a nice pet for my 5 year old nephew. Of course I will do most of the work.
I am in a kind of residential area so a hen may be in order to avoid waking the neighbors at daily sunrise.
I have a fenced in yard which is heavily landscaped with flower beds and a small veggie garden. If thes was a free range chicken would it just eat every flower in its path?
I have a small 6 foot area to make a chicken coop aside my deck.
Will this work or will it be more trouble than its worth.
